The Pointy Hats Have Good Advice

Let a friend be of assistance. Everyone can use an antler now and then.
The painting above is of Billy Bob the Elk at the Farm. This is a rare Gnome Sighting. You rarely catch them napping, especially long enough to set up an easel.

About Garden Walk Garden Talk
Love to paint, draw, design, garden, and pass on a few tips and ideas that I learned through experience as a Master Gardener and architect. I am highly trained in my field and enjoy my work each and every day.
Beautiful Donna. I love the jolt of color from the gnome among the fur! Wish I could paint like that – my grandfather and sister are painters but I didn’t get a smidge of that talent!
Thanks Cat. Gnomes are such fun little guys.
Very nice. He looks so relaxed
Thanks, my gnome thanks you, too.
That looks like a pretty great place to take a nap! Lovely painting…love the pop of the red hat.
Well, those antlers are pretty hard!
Beautiful movement and colors in your painting Donna! I love the whimsical addition of the Gnome. Nice to have an Elk pose for you too. ;>)
If only. The elk is a little grouchy at this time of year. No lady elk.
Hi Donna, That’s another beautiful painting. How did you get Billy Bob to pose for you?
Billy Bob came to the fence and gave me a big snort. I snapped a few photos and the rest is history.
Beautiful and sweet!
Gnomes are kinda sweet, aren’t they?
What a lucky gnome sighting! And to catch him sleeping – what a find. The elk looks peaceful too. Perhaps they are friends?
Gnomes like all wild life I think. Geese transport them. That is cute.
How delightful! I love the feeling of it this painting. Thanks for stopping by.

Than you too for dropping in.
Just more evidence that gnomes are freeloaders. Poor elk has to do all the work.
That they are.
What a peaceful gnome. Doesn’t seem to bother Billy Bob at all, which is a good thing. Lovely painting, Donna!
Billy Bob is ornery at this time of year. The lady elk are a long ways away.
I love it. Can I get a print?
Thanks, on the way.
Great painting! The elk looks tolerant, if not friendly!
He is not at all friendly during his rut. Those big antlers will get used. When I took his photo, he did hid usual male dance and display. I guess I just painted him a little friendly.
That made me smile! Though the gnome is in trouble if the stag decides to get in to a fight…
Gnomes are really speedy. Those little legs can really go. He will be OK. Thanks for the concern.
