Donna, I am so far behind in reading your wonderful posts since my trip down the stairs. I love the Christmas decor in your home, it is simply stunning. Everything you do is in such good taste and elegant.

I hope this finds you and yours in good health. Thank you so much for being a faithful reader of my mind-wanderings, it means so much to me to know someone reads my keystrokes. You had a spring horse like mine, too? I still have it yet, tucked into the eaves of this little house. I hope it survives long enough to see grandkids but then, again, I don’t know how safe it is. Times were different then, it’s a wonder we all survived to adulthood, isn’t it?

Thank you so much for your friendship over the past year, Donna. I always look forward to visiting your blog and before I do, I make certain I have enough time set aside to savor my visit. Your posts are such a treat all year long. Gorgeously photographed, impeccably designed and content-rich.

I hope your Christmas was Merry and may your New Year be filled with Health and Happiness.

Donna girl this is simply BEAUTIFUL !
We also decorate in a simple manner and we are truly happy with that .. some times going overboard is just THAT .. “overboard” and you haven’t the chance to appreciate anything because it is overwhelming .. so this is perfect !
I want to thank you for dropping by my blog so often girl : )
I mean to visit much more myself but things tend to overwhelm me too often sadly.
I just read the above post and agree with all of it .. I try my best to help with my garden and frugal water usage and what ever else I can think of .. just my tiny part for mother earth.
Happy New Year Donna !! Perhaps things will improve that tiny bit ?
    Best Wishes
    Joy : )

  28. I’m just catching up on archived posts. Your house and decorations are BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for the virtual “Open House”! –John
