If you happen to be in Western New York mid-June… see the promotional posters below because…you might want to join the Lewiston Garden Club for their yearly event, the Lewiston GardenFest. It is open free to the public and is a most fun event.
I was promoting the Lewiston GardenFest via Facebook with a daily image of one of the open gardens opened to the public in recent years. Check them out in this post.
These images are just snippets of the gardens that visitors have seen through the years.
My blog gets searched and viewed for LGF quite often, so keeping it fresh with images lets the people searching get needed information about the yearly event of which I have supported for some years now. I also redirect them to the Lewiston GardenFest website by providing the link throughout my post.
To see more gardens, see Lewiston GardenFest Gardens and More. My photos of the gardens have been popular – shared and viewed often.
Make sure to get to Lewiston to see the gardens in person. It is a lot of fun.
Two of the posters I designed are shown below, minus the phone numbers. I have done the advertising, posters, handouts, and web admin for years (all for free of course), but will be handing off my responsibilities to other members next year. I wish them much luck in their future GardenFests.
Maybe next year you might see a poster from me for Garden Walk Buffalo, that is if they still run a yearly contest for artists and photographers. It had a monetary prize and attracted some very talented artists. The organizers also acknowledged the artist in the media too. Now that is a good gig to win! I might look into it.
